About Us
Batair Cargo is a dedicated air freight company, which is based and operates out of Lanseria International airport, Johannesburg. We offer a fast and flexible air charter service into Africa, using aircraft that accommodate loads from 10 kilograms to 17 tonnes.
We specialise in:
Delivering emergency cargo to Zambia and the DRC
Small but very heavy loads ie loads not suitable for the airlines
Maintaining block clearances to Zambia and the DRC
Landing on mine airstrips (including dirt or grass runways)
Taking essential passengers (e.g. engineers) to fly with their cargo
Batair Cargo and our sister company, Cargo Logistics, provide the following services:
Customs export documentation and Customs clearing out of RSA
Warehousing for cargo
Cargo handling at Lanseria
Loading and off loading aircraft
Emailing pre-alerts to clearing agents at destination
Updating clients on the progress of their flight at every stage
Identifying the most appropriate aircraft to do the job
Where necessary, Batair Cargo can arrange the following:
Collection of cargo within the Johannesburg area
BIVAC inspection
Collection of essential documentation to facilitate speedy departure
